I have been a professional writer, copyeditor, and proofreader for over 25 years, with experience in a variety of industries and writing styles. I have worked with clients ranging from individual authors who want to get their work ready for publication,  to small startups and large corporations. 

One of my recent favorite projects was copyediting a manuscript about sea monsters for a prolific children's author. I'm currently working on an educational module on intuitive writing for a class I'll be teaching in January 2024.

I am always eager to take on new and exciting writing, editing, and proofreading projects.

I have written for a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, education, and more. I was a contract writer for several years working for a Southern California company whose clients included Safeway/Vons, CVS Pharmacies, McDonalds, AutoZone, Starbucks, Old Navy, Del Taco, and more. My job was to write educational modules for these companies' safety training programs. I was also a contract writer for a company that was hired to rework a 400-page website for Workforce San Diego. My job there was to "Americanize" the language (the company was made up of all Indian men who used perfect British English) and advise on making the interface user-friendly. 

I was Editorial Director of a successful online journal for children's writers and illustrators for seven years, and I've written business profiles for the San Diego Union-Tribune, I've written user manuals for tech companies and patent documentation for a patent processing company, and so many more. 

My writing style is adaptable, depending on the client's needs. I can write in a variety of styles, including professional, conversational, academic, and creative writing.
